I used Testors Clear Parts Cement. It goes on white but dries clear. It was a little thicker than the regular model glue.

That's what I have. I don't think I shook it up enough. I just pulled the windshield back apart and cleaned the glass....do over number ?? who's counting.

Ok it not a bronco but it is ford powered. I finished it up last night. Wanted it to look fresh off the track after 24 hrs of racing.

The body has a slight bow in it. The nose points up just a little. I glued it down and left a bottle of glue sitting on the hood to flatten out the bow but it's still there. Not as bad but I notice it.

Calling this one done !
There are a few boo boos, such as the windshield wasn't seated properly and I didn't catch it until the glue was set and I had a wiper on. Going forward I will be more careful with painting pieces that need glue, that was a tough work around on this one. And those stripes down the side, holy hell!

Nice job, I like the color. I think if I do another I would do a few things different also.

Skiddy, other than cut the fenders how did you "lift" yours, & what tires are those? I found the fender flares on eBay and while I've found lifted Ford axles, they are all full leaf packs...thanks for sharing!

on the axles/tires, I had an old plastic bronco toy. It had solid axles so I just cut the shaft off and put them the housings. if I was going full width I would have ground down the shafts to the original bronco size shafts, and put them in the housings, it then would roll just fine.
I have a little bit of rebuilding to do since the wreck%), I will post some pics after while

Haven't had a lot of time lately to finish mine. I did put a few decals on and like slowleak said, glued a few parts back on that broke off from handling. :(

I have that same Cobra kit still in the box that I bought back in 1990 in Guam, during my first assignment in the Air Force. Now if I could only remember where I stashed it.%)
