I have NEVER built a model before. I will say though I am pretty pleased with the turn out. I realize I made a bunch of mistakes, but still pretty darn proud of it. Its a mini Bdog;D

Nice JW....

If you wondered how close gloss white is to Ford Wimbleton White....well here you go, not even in the same ballpark. Wasn't paying attention and grabbed the wrong paint for the trailer cover. Another redo.

I think it looks great Sarah. What color is the green? I've been trying to find a decent can of Forest Green off the shelf with no luck, curious what that is as it looks close to the color of my 73.

Got my 73 with a 74 sticker plate in the mail today, pretty nice for 2 bucks.
I hope to post a picture of it completed by the end of the weekend.

Something funny I just read on the bottom of the box. Skill level 5, Build time 7+ hours. I wish I kept track of how long it's taking to complete, I would guess I'm up around 20+hours, maybe more.

Be waiting on the pic(s).

I've been tinkering around with a couple of frames to get some lift to add bigger tires. Going to need a little help with height on the frame and then add a little body lift, along with flares. Looks like the Pittman arm will need modifying too to get everything together. And the shocks have to be extended. Going to take a while on those, the 7 hrs time frame for sure out the window, maybe 7 weeks, probably longer with the weather starting to get better and not stuck in the house. Here's a pic of the bigger IROKs mocked up on a frame with no lift, nothing has been glued together permanently and still a lot of paint touchup needed. I learned that if you use the type glue for windshields etc you can get things back apart easily, you can also use rubber cement but it pulls apart very easily. Did a little customizing on an engine with different carb and valve covers and also some chrome/silver paint. Hard to tell the difference in the pics between the aluminum paint and chrome paint but in hand its quite different. My modeling bench is starting to look like my old shop, numerous projects started and nothing finished.

Well this is my first real attempt at this as well. I helped one the boys build a Blimp few yrs back but nothing like this. Never had the patients for this as a kid.

Now I have started. I have two'69 Camaros another Bronci and a General Lee. Bothe the Camaros n Lee were presents from several yrs ago that I just put up and never had the time for. But here's my start.

Look'in good. I know what you mean, I haven't built a model in at least 35 years. Even back then I never got into the detail as I have on the Bronco. I would just glue them together and slap on the decals. I like the grey wheels on yours, keep up the good work.
