Figured I ought to just make a thread just for my current bronco. I'll update as I make changes.

tan exterior, white interior. bondo on front passenger quarter, but they did a good job. Currently has some mean aggressive / \ / \ / paddle like tractor looking tires. I imagine they are awesome in the mud, but not much for on road. Dash pad is PERFECT, glove box, head liner and fuse box all look in good shape. Seats need to be re-upolstered. Tire carrier in good shape, little rust. Custom bumpers front/rear (nothing to write home about, functional, but not pretty). Power steering, power brakes, original engine, holley carb, C4, disc brakes, solid door posts and doors, new dual exhaust off stock manifolds, top glass in good condition. This will be the trail truck, needs new seals for sure.
The day I got it:

Sold the tires about a year later. They were ditch witch 31x15.50r15. I bet they would work great anywhere but pavement. Listed them everywhere and finally sold them for $800 to a guy who drove down from Indiana in one day, only to turn right around and drive back.

I've decided against making it a trail rig. It is too nice to beat up, and I really enjoy driving it around with the kid.

Spent a week pulling the interior, putting down POR-15, Peel & Seal, carpet and my new to me roll cage.

Here's a link to the Peel & Seal thread

Pics from that thread:

Also took it up to Albanay, GA for the SOWEGA run. This was a great trip and the bronco ran perfectly. I was truly impressed by how well it pulled in the sand and over/up obstacles.

I have been running around without a battery tray. The supports from the wheel well to the core support are shot and there has never been a tray. I've been using a piece of plywood and a ratchet strap so far. I've decided that time bomb is a bit too ominous and ordered a replacement battery tray from JBG. I already have the replacement supports, so that will go in next week.

I am also planning on replacing my existing speaker box with something a little better. Using Polk Audio DB521 marine speakers. These should sound significantly better than the Dual brand 6.5"s I am replacing.

Picked up a new receiver today. Came with a free set of 6.5 speakers so I will put those in the back quarter panels, if I ever finish them.

PKG-MP18

Heckuva deal for 59.99

this is a KDC-108 packaged with one pair of KFC-G1620 6.5" coaxial speakers.

Great thread Lonesouth, those grips would have been fun at the dunes, Stout would have really gotten some air, old double tap would still be up there if he had them.

Started working on my suspension lift yesterday. Put tapered 2" blocks in the rear, have wildhorses 2.5" coils for the front. Got the rears done, not too much trouble. The fronts are far more involved. Need to pull the trac-bar, and I popped off the pitman arm, to get enough movement to install the new 4° c-bushings. May install new radius arm bushings and an adjustable tracbar while I'm at it.
