• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Things that make you wonder if it is actually a 66, or if it could have been a roadster. Things that are not 66, the doors, the tail gate, the hard top, the tail lights.

It has maintained several of the '66 components. It has an eyebrow grille, early dash and dash pad, instruments, steering grommet, etc., the '66 brace on the right inner fender to firewall, and the early tailgate. It has a lot of later parts too.. but I could believe that it is indeed a '66.

It sold and was a U13

For those curious this Bronco sold today. I talked to the seller and it was originally a U13 but the frame and drive train were rough and so he got a 76 also and transferred the body of the 66 to the 76 frame. After he completed everything he learned what a U13 meant and realized he should have tried to restore it as an original roadster. The paint job he did was not too great and doors did not match fenders...he patched floorpans with sheet metal etc....probably a good buy for someone wanting a decent looking driver at that price but ashame a U13 will never be the same.
