Ordered and received a bunch of parts. Still waiting for the Mustang to sell.

Messed with the driver door alignment and I think the backing plate is jacked up. (like, "messed" up)

Started poking around to get an idea what we might find when it goes to have the floor sandblasted. About what I expected. Bondo and fiberglass. I have no idea how far and wide it goes, but I anticipate a lot of new metal.

On the positive side:
  • Got all my switches in for the new dash. Blue LED carling style (even a big switch!)
  • 90degree water neck, radiator hoses and belt for the serpentine upgrade.
  • New plastic waterproof 6 relay box.
  • Custom wiper knob and bezel from Tom's.
  • A dewalt 18V 3/8 impact wrench (I have tons of 18v dewalt tools).
  • A pressure washer.
  • CV Collar will be here thursday so I can put the rear driveshaft back in and
take it Saturday to get the pass floor pan put in.

Lots going on!

To help with the door alignment, Nick (delconick on here) sells shims that work great! I used one recently and it was just what I needed. They are on his site:

Today I think I lost my best friend, also my mechanic friend who likes to help work on the bronco. I'm not sure we can be friends anymore. So, that sucks.

IT'S A MIRACLE!!!!

The bronco sat and I didn't mess with it for years. But when I stopped working on it the blinkers (turn signals) had stopped working, and I spend a lot of time trying to track down the problem to no avail.

Today, suddenly, they started working!

Someone commented on a post that there is a metal screen on the rag joint that has something to do with grounding. I changed the lower steering shaft............. and now I have turn signals again!

Lots of rot on the interior floor, and some on the wheel housing. I'm about to start some probing cuts to see what the floor supports are like.

You know what really makes you sick about these ole brutes is that ford did nothing really to protect them from rust.

Started cutting yesterday. Probably going to have to replace all of the floor some of the braces and at least two of the pillars.
