If I go to a new stock style radiator, shroud and a rigid '18 fan on a 302 will my Bronco run cool during the hot Texas summers?

yes. provided your radiator is clean and free flowing and you have a good operating thermostat. my set-up is exactly the same & is located in hot South Texas.

Sorry But I had a new big alum. radiator 7 blade fan and Mine always ran hot in the summer.. Would even get to 250 if I was not careful..
.. So I put in the 4BT and it's cool now.

;D;D;D I run a 69 351W with a stock 3 row and stock fan no shroud and have never got hot. I have run all of so. ca. and some in mexico. I would think a nice clean stock one should work fine and no more than a 0.030 over bore or you can run into a heat problem. Good luck with your's.:cool::cool: Bill ;D%):D

I have a old stock radiator, shroud, 17 or 18" rigid fan, 190 t-stat, EFI, and a small hood scoop. It runs cool all the time. I work as a painter and when I had it at work I put it in the spray booth running and baked it at 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Only got up to 215 or so.

I have the stock radiator, fan and fan shroud with a 180 thermostat. I live in Los Angeles and the truck never gets hot. Not even when in the desert. I did have my radiator cleaned out last year. Stays at 175-180.
