Looking good brother man...

Thanks for the pics. Glad it is stretching its legs. I miss it but don't miss it sitting in my driveway. The drums are in good shape and it got new wheel cylinders and hoses before I sold it. Just give yourself two country power poles of space between u and car in front(grandpa's advice!).

So after a crazy busy past three months I am finally working on this truck again. I have removed the manual steering box and pulled the pulleys from the front of the engine. I notched the radiator core support for the power steering box yesterday, took out as little as I could so it would fit. Next I need to pull the steering shaft and cut it for the u joints. Hope to have some time on Friday to mess with it again.
I am lucky that I can drive my 67 but its been killing me seeing this truck sit.

After another two months of sitting I was able to wrap up the power steering, install the stock rear bumper, reinstall the spare rack and put the full size spare on. What a difference with the power steering and it looks a lot better with that stock rear bumper. I am going to drive it home tonight. maybe give it a good bath over the weekend. Still have a few electrical issues to sort out, but I will drive it and enjoy it for the next few months. Got a car show next month I am going to. Anyone On the Eastern Shore or southern Delaware should check it out Ridgley Maryland Car Show October 14th. Lots of cars, Richard Petty comes every year and does autographs its a good time.

Also forgot I installed new wipers, wiper fluid bottle, hoses, and nozzles. Put LEDs in the gauge cluster but found out it was not the bulbs. Seems the problem is in the headlight switch, if I twist it just right I can get the gauge lights to work. Oh well that's the next project!

So I cleaned the shop dust off the bronco, put a coat of wax on it, and took it to the local car show. Weather was so so, but had a great time. It was the only bronco there and drew a lot of attention. had at least two people call it a jeep and had three people that wanted to buy it! The mustang next to it is my neighbors 66. I will drive it when time a weather permits as I work on my 67.

It was nice day so I drove the 70 to work. Took it out for a few glam shots at lunch. Not going to be too many 65 deg days left this year.

Looks great. I see you plugged the CB antenna hole! It is funny that you parked my old truck right next to another car I used to own, a pale yellow 68 Firebird Convertible.
Bad weather coming soon so enjoy!
I found a 11" drum set up that a former member gave me with all new parts installed. If I ever get your way on way to OC and yo u want them I will drop them off. I still haven't lowered the hardtop down from the ceiling...

Thanks, I put a coat of wax on it and polished it up good for that show.
I will take any parts you come across for it. If I don't use it on this bronco it will go on one of the others. And if you ever get the hard top down I will take it. Just let me know.

Truck has been a lot fun.
