John, once you and your Dad get this install figured out let me know - this is what I need to do to my trail rig. I could just drop it off in SC for you to work on in your spare time;)

Sounds like a plan! The problem is that spare time. . . It is a valuable resource these days for me.

between vacation and lake season, it has been hard to find time to work on this project. The bronco is getting exhaust put on it today. the only thing left to do is build a skid plate. Its been a fun project! looking foward to wheeling at OCBR. We will be bringing both of ours.

both drive shafts are now in, we had to do a little massaging on the front and rear yokes at the transfer case ends. The yokes clear at full droop now.

I added two seat belt hoops to the cage, this is something this rig needed for a while.

the sheet metal cover is now finished, it can be removed as 1 piece.

That cover is SEXY! Dang good work John.

Can he reach the shifters while harnessed in? That's one thing I've got to change on mine and do some lengthening on the shifters to get them where I can access them while strapped in tight.

That’s something we noticed while loading it on the trailer, we were just discussing it last night. We plan to adjust the shifters back to make it easier to reach when he’s strapped in.

That looks really nice. I don't know if I can reach all mine when I've got all 4 straps buckled in. But I rarely do that unless I am in a really sticky situation. I like to lean out too much, so I only run the lap belt. I have been meaning to bend one or both of my shifters for the gear box for years now. I have some fancy knobs, but can only install one. Because when I go into reverse, I knock the Atlas into N.

Looks great. At least you shifters are on the drivers side of the tunnel, mine being on the passenger side made things interesting

My trans shifter is on the passenger side of the tunnel, the one good thing about being too tall for an EB is I can reach the passenger side when I’m strapped in lol.

We finished the last project on this bronco before OCBR last night. The skid plate is finished. We made it out of 3/16s it should protect the atlas and transmission pan. This bronco has a C4, but dad wanted to leave the deep pan on the transmission, thats why there is a drop down in the skid plate. this has been a fun build, but im glad its finished. Im ready to ride and see how it does!
