One of Dons grandsons sent me some cool pictures. He has a great family and friends that keep the spirit of Crazy Horse alive.

Hopefully the headers come out looking good. I sent them off to be blasted and ceramic coated.

This is true. Ivan drove it for sponsor Fairway Ford while waiting on his new F150 to be built. He even was one of the people that said it was in fact Crazy Horse. I will post a picture of Ivan driving it. I think he even raced it at Riverside in 78.

Todd, what class do you think I could run it in NORRA?

Very good question! Most of the classes I think you'd want to run it in state 'stock chassis', which I interpret to mean stock wheelbase.

I think you'll have to get a read from NORRA (Greg the tech guy) to know. It might have to go in Vintage Open Truck w/4x4 or something like that which puts you up against guys with coilovers and linked suspensions.

At some point the rear was linked. I have been toying with the idea of running 3" King Coilovers on all four corners instead of the coils.

Reading the rules it looks like it might be considered “grandfathered” in but like we talked about Todd, it’s a bit of interpretation based on the guidelines provided in the rule book and comes down to someone thumbs up or down.

Grandfathered to what suspension design? Stock? Or just the length?
