I changed my motor mounts today. I can check this off my list. It feels good to get something done on the bronco. Check out the old ones. They are trashed!

Alright. - I made a personal commitment to do my restoration this year so I will play along. To start I sold the fenders, grille, and hood off my daily driving EB so I would be committed. Then I cut the quarters and tail light sections out. I figured doing these would put me into the deep commitment stage and I miss driving it so much that I’m working hard to bring her back. I am starting to feel like a root canal is better than cutting another spot weld 🤣

- new rear springs and shocks with one inch axle setback (done)
- new fenders (bought)
- new quarters (kbs coated inner quarters and welded in done)
- new tail light sections (one done, one to go)
- new rockers (old cut out, kbs coating done, new ready to be welded in)
- cut and patch kick panels
- driver floor pan
- new door skins
- fix oil leak in front seal
- rebuild tranny
- Paint
- Interior

Crap that list is longer than I thought.

I can't get motivated to try to fix the cross rails. I'm going to replace the #2 rail which is being shipped. And the #3 rail is bent backwards and needs some jacking and BFH to get it level again. Then I have to replace all the floor pans and bed and wheel wells........

I should have just taken the body off, but I didn't think it was going to be this big of a mess. Now I'm just frustrated and wish there was someone close who would just come and yell at me. Sorry for the rant. - Jim

I get one day a week with my Bronco, and usually I'm by myself, but this time I had help and accomplished a ton! Now to rebuild the entire steering column.

Take a step back, drink, deep breaths and get after it when you've had a break :)

Ok....well...I got one done! The gaps were a bit too big for my liking so I welded a layer of steel on the butt end and had to do a little shaping but nice fit now. I got the lower outer rocker from Toms since everything else was solid.
