• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

I am looking for a set of spindle shims to fix my alignment on the dana 44 disk brake front end that I have. I have looked all over and can't even buy them new. I have the part numbers but the numbers have been discontinued. This is a 5 hole shim. Not a six hole that is used for a drum brake spindle.

Moog #K976-3. Not good
Dorman # 546-036. Not good
Ingalls Engineering # 56125. Good number. Nothing available at this time.

So if anyone has a set of shims they would like to sell. I am interested.

What degree are you looking for?

I think Bax will take any since he doesn't know what he will end up needing but I think 1 to 3 degree.
What you got

Jerry,, as best I can tell, one side is worse than the other. Drivers is around 1/2 a degree and the other 7/8 degrees perhaps bigger.

Don't know if any of these will work, might be worth a shot though.

Well let me take another stab at it. Rock Auto shows that they have some and the website will let me put them in my cart but maybe they're out as well?? You probably tried there too. I'm interested cause i'm probably going to need some for a 44 I have.

Look closely at those listings.
There are two different sizes listed and most are too small.
Then the number of holes needs to match with the number of studs which hold the spindle to the knuckle and if that is anything except 5 it will not.

Nice score. Not sure if I still need them. I am putting together a new 44. New housing, so I am not sure how it will line up until I get the knuckles on it.

Thanks

I'm interested in the two new ones if they aren't claimed already (and you're selling them :)).

Thanks,
Todd Z.

Not sure if you were selling them. I would be interested in the used ones Todd wants the new ones. No pressure to sell
