• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Sadly, I have decided to sell Ginger. The primary reason is because I have lost my ability to garage her.

I have enjoyed driving her all over the NoFo of Long Island this extended Fall where she was greatly appreciated by all her met her!

Folks here will recall that in May and June of this year Ginger was worked on extensively to make her a safe and reliable girl. I have over 10k in parts and labor receipts available to her new owner.

Just some of the improvements made include (much documented here on Classic Broncos:

Rebuilt Transmission (Basal's Transmissions)
Installed 2 new OEM style gas tanks and replaced fuel sending units (also rear tank filler hose, side tank filler hose, and vent hose)
Removed, resealed and reinstalled gas valve switch and replaced all valve switch hoses.
Installed New BF Goodrich LT235 75 R15 tires - Mounted and balanced
Installed New Front (Motive) and Rear Gears (Yukon)
Installed Wheel Cylinders
Installed New Axel Bearings and Seals
Installed Axel U-Joints (Spicer) and Dust Seals
Repaired Vent House on Rear Differential
Replaced rear yoke
Installed Power Disc Brakes (Wild Horses) & New Front Brake lines
Repacked all Wheel Bearings
Installed 14 Piece front end bushing kit , drag link
Replaced horn, windshield reservoir
Installed Motor Mounts
Installed new belts, hoses, alternator bracket, repaired oil sending wire
Installed passenger brake line and front differential brake hose
Replaced Autolite carburetor & return spring
Rebuilt driveshaft
Radius Arm Bushing Set
Replaced Neutral Safety switch
New Chrome Mirrors
Replaced Lift Gate Seal
Replaced Headlight Splash Seals
Installed Cowl Lace Kit
Interstate Battery
Bilstein 5100 Shocks
Installed CUSTOM 304 stainless muffler & stainless exhaust
Fixed heat - Installed Silicone Heater Hoses
Changed radiator hoses
Replaced radiator
Replaced radiator overflow tank
Replaced bumpers
Replaced valve cover gaskets and painted valve covers ford blue
Replaced starter and solenoid
Replaced water pump
Replaced fuel pump
Replaced fuel sending unit
Replaced harmonic balancer
Replaced fan shroud
Replaced spark plug wires
Replaced spark plugs
Removed old tint from rear and rear/side windows
Replaced oil pan.

RUST - Ginger does have some rust in the floor pans -- it is NOT horrible but it will have to be addressed. Also, very early in her life the passenger front side quarter panel was replaced. The paint match could be better. ALL other paint is original. Her paint looks its age and has a nice patina. She is a 1973 time capsule. Seats are covered in black vinyl not the houndstooth pattern. I was about to start work on the interior of the truck (insulating for noise and new carpeting) so the rug is ripped up.

I am sure there is a lot missing in this post.
I am losing money on this truck - Price is firm.

Prefer to discuss her rather than email back and forth. PM for phone #.

Serious inquiries only. Also, I would consider swapping Ginger for something fun in the daily driver category.

Some shots.

I do! But, my partner doesn't! Which, come to think of it, is probably the real reason to part ways. And she needs someone to take her to the next level. She deserves it! If I become that person it won't be good for the homefront! Lol

Can you post (or PM) more interior & engine bay shots. You have some nice photos that you've posted over the last year, but most are beauty shots. :) Also any specific rust areas would be great as well. Thanks!

The guy you shipped to....

I shipped that Bronco to New York . I wish i had the money for it.

did almost nothing to the truck....and barely drove it....

She's in MUCH better mechanical shape now than when you shipped her. :) Body is the same. She liked that dry Amarillo weather. ;D

Yeah I kinda figured he wouldn't be able to maintan it ,just by talking to him . He was a nice guy just didn't seem like he had the time for it.

Wow! Small world. :) That is definitely Ginger up there. Thanks for sharing the picture! You'd love her now. A night and day difference with all the work that was performed.
