• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

This 1977 Ford Bronco was purchased from the brother of the original owner who passed away in October of last year, up to which time he drove it semi regularly. He got it from his brother in 2011. They were both Ford men through and through. This is one of 8 classic fords he had. Up until his last days he maintained them all regularly and made extensive notes and to-do's. It’s an East Tennessee car and we get under 5 days of snow a year so its never seen salt. It has a 302, automatic transmission, factory power disc brakes, power steering, tire carrier, Dual gas tanks, etc. It was originally purchased in 1977 alongside a 1977 Bayliner boat (Colored red to match the bronco). It was purchased to tow the boat with. Very original and Odometer shows 94594 and this is said to be original. Factory red with a quality repaint at some point (Prior to 2011). Almost survivor status. Rhino-liner type paint was used on the bed to prevent rust (not sure the exact type but it was awhile back). It has evidence of minor rust in the usual places and I have over 500 photos I can send to you, as well as take more. It runs and drives well but could likely use a carb rebuild. I can take a video of it starting and running. Not fully restored however minimal rust compared to most and a survivor.

It comes with pages and pages of handwritten maintenance records/notes. These notes had everything including gas fill ups, test drives, notes about drive, new tags, oil changes and what brand/type oil and what additives, paid insurance, tire inflation, new vacuum hoses, receipts for parts and rebuilds, part quotes, bulb replacements, tire inflation, etc.

VIN - U15GL038196

The car is located in Knoxville Tennessee and it has a Clean Tennessee title with my name on it. A marti report could be ran for it as well. Call (805) 405-0765 with any questions.

MECHANICAL
302 - Runs well but could use a carb rebuild.
Automatic C4 transmission - Works well. 3 speeds work fine
Fresh transmission fluid and filter change
4WD - low and high work well
Power front discs from the factory
Power steering
Original hose clamps on some hoses such as upper radiator hose
Catalytic converter
The wheels are in great shape and the tires look to be fairly new
Heater core control valve looks to be disconnected but coolant is going through the heater core so it should blow hot. Not sure why this was done.
Status of auxiliary tank is unknown however he always put fuel stabilizer in the gas so its likely fine.
Ignition control module looks to have a leak but it works fine.

INTERIOR:
Seats looks to be original and never recovered. I took a damp rag to them but they could be cleaned up more
AM Radio Works
Fuel gauge seems to be intermittent but when its working it properly switches between the 2 tanks.
Coolant temp gauge climbs a little but doesn't seem to go all the way
Oil pressure gauge looks to work
Alternator gauge looks to work
Factory ignition Key and aftermarket door key, both work properly
Wipers work
Dash in great shape
All seat belts look to be there and are dated 76’ as they should be.
It has a rubber “bronco” branded floor throughout it with padding under it
Headliner is in decent shape

BODY:
Top is in exceptional shape
Top may not have ever been off
Uncut
Doors shut Nicely as they should
Tailgate shuts nicely
Quality paint
Tow ball for towing his bayliner
Driver side door doesn't line up completely - looks to be in need of adjustment

The price is pretty firm as of now. If I don't find a serious buyer in the next week or two I'll be putting it on ebay. Please feel free to call me at (805) 405-0765 if interested.

I've reduced this to 35K. I'm motivated to sell it. Still on ebay but I'll pull it off if a serious buyer wants it.

If you're willing to go some ca$h plus a trade vehicle, PM me.
No way I can get this on cash alone, but I'd take it and drive it forever if we can work something out.

Bidding didn't go high enough to hit the reserve. I gave a few eBay people the price of $28,500 firm and I'm sticking to that. I have an offer of $27,000 on the table but I turned it down for now.

Do you have pictures of the front floor pans with the front mats pulled back? There looks to be some patching from the inderside.

I have not removed the side trim to check that out but I can certainly do so if you're a serious buyer for the asking price. Feel free to PM me or call me at the number above if you want the photos.
