I am going to be pulling my 302 this winter and replacing it with a 351W.
I plan on converting it to EFI using Explorer Electronics.
My current 302 has MSD Atomic EFI on it with a MSD 6A ignition box and a MSD distributor. The MSD distributor has the phasing rotor in it and the MSD Atomic is currently controlling timing. The distributor gear is for a non roller cam. It also comes with a 6ft extension cable so you can mount the hand held in the cab to monitor your system.
All the updates have been done and it has been converted with a kick down linkage for and automatic transmission. You can remove if you have a manual.
I am selling all of this stuff as a package deal with all of the wiring. All you should need is a fuel pump and some fuel line.
I want to be upfront about the atomic. Overall it has runs pretty good and has been reliable but it was a challenge to get dialed in. Lots of trial and error, but overall it works pretty good. I would keep it but I also will be installing a 4r70w and i want to use the Explorer computer to control the EFI as well as the transmission.
I plan on pulling this unit off in the next month or so.
Here are a couple videos to review.
First one is a cold start after sitting for a few days. Second video is an overview of the handheld
