I running a similar set that were built by Chip a few years back. I love them. Good protection, solid on rock slides and door dingers( since they come out further than the doors and fenders). They have save me a couple times now. I have ran a hose through them now and then to get dirt out, but never a lot of build up. The flares are also cut to block the openings.

I run them and have been very happy, taken a lot of abuse and still look great. I capped the ends so no dirt or mud get inside. I think they compliment the lines of the flares really well.

I wonder if they work on fiberglass tubs?
I was looking at Duff's rock sliders with the tubes, but when I called Duff's directly they couldn't find anyone there that knew if they would work on fiberglass rockers :(

That was gonna be my thing.. Just cap off the ends, should work well
