Tire carrier finished, OK or overkill?

Thanks Syk, There are a couple things I would do different like leave the spare in the shop cuz the carrier was a pain in the #$$ to build.

Looks nice, sort of like my JCR, did you extend the tire carrier bearing into the lower part of the bumper, that makes it bulletproof from bending moment.

At first glance that seems like a good idea; but the one time I left my spare at home was the first time I had a flat, out in the middle of nowhere of course. %)

I like it ALOT only thing I would change is to make the 2 bolts in the foot studs so it would be quicker to get on and off on the side of the road. I haven't experienced much thievery around her though.

yes it is extended through and welded to the lower plate of the bumper.

You won't have to change anything they are studs welded in.;D

I'd like to have one. But I don't think I have enough patience any longer to that Quality of work.
.. If I built one I'd want the tire behind myself on the Driver side corner . I don't like turning around & not being able to see over the spare .
No That's NOT Overkill...That should last. & IF your on a rocky trail They can tear almost any thing off your Bronco.. Good Job.
