I ran into Ian Johnson, got some details. If you were watching the Bronco he was building with RTM, you will never see it finished. It was parted out. He is starting a new show for Amazon Prime. Look for Big Tire Garage.

Yes!! We cut the cord 2 years ago surviving on Amazon and Netflix, but both severely lack in off road shows, not to mention car shows in general.

Forgot until I saw the paperwork. Also stopped at US Shift and saw Karl Baumann. Had a nice talk with him regarding transmissions. For those who really want the 10-speed, it is coming. There is a Grand Marquis driving around with one right now and they are working the bugs out of it.

So much cool stuff it is easy to forget some of it.

KC Highlights was showing me there $125 light bar. They are putting good quality and a good name to compete with the cheap stuff. Not the super cheap stuff, but you do get a bit of quality without having to sell the house to pay for it.

And when I think of more I will add it.

Broncobowsher what's new with Bauman/US Shift. I have an older (5years) Compushift ready to install for my 4R70W. Would love to know of any improvements to be had. Thanks, Mark

Never discussed the compushift. We talked old days of the Baumannator, and the new quick shift versions. And that he just got a 10 speed up an running and is working on a controller for that. The old days when Greg was there as well, now moved to the St. Louis area.

Okay, thanks. Did some reading and think I'll order the new quick shift kit. Just have to determine which connectors my trans has.

No broncos in the off-road hall. Lots of scouts.
Saw Ian Johnson, he eventually remembered me.
That was just the first afternoon. Big day tomorrow.

Broncobowsher, I wish I would have run into you. I was there and had a blast, but man, there was too much to see.

Ian is a good dude, I work with him a lot.

Anybody seen any pics of the new Dakota Digital gauge? About time to get something on order and wanted to get a look at the new version first.

Have it on my phone. Been busy, really busy. After SEMA I had to run to Moab and San Diego. Need to update that contributor status.

And another one I forgot, ARB has a really nice jack. Think of it as a hydraulic version of the highlift. Did I mention it is really nice? Too bad it has the matching ARB price tag.

Jon, great job as with all your videos. Question --- do you know if Maxlider or Black Beard Broncos is planning to sell those family cages? Looks like a great option, and it's the next thing on my list...

I didn't ask, but I'm assuming they are trying to sell them some time. That's how they were talking about it.

Is there one newer than the HDX? (I think that's what it's called). It's a newer version that's been out for a few years now - on vendor websites etc.

Yeah, looks like it’s called the RTX. They have a pic on their website now. Pricing looks to be same as HDX. Look is more similar to stock gauges than either of the other current options.

Looks cool. But I’m not a buyer at that price unfortunately.
