Looking to upgrade to 35s and I'm having a hard time finding them for a 15" wheel. I have 15x10 mickey thompson classic IIs and would like to keep running them. Any recommendations? I prefer a M/T, looking at the General Grabber X3.

Those look good on there, I'm running DC Fun Country IIs in 33x12.50R15 with a 3.5 suspension lift and 1" BL and have had good luck with them. I'll take a look at those. The Mickey Thompsons look nice too, I've heard good things about those

For a mud tire the MTZ's wear like iron.

I am on my 3rd set. These are the smallest.

Cooper owns Mickey Thompson and Dick Cepek.

The Cooper mud tire looks a lot like the MTZ.

Mine are Baja Claws 35x15.5x15 on 15x10 rims. Floatation in the sand necessitates the wider tire. Not sure if there are still available in the super wide size...

Cooper Discoverer STT Pro, Mickey Thompson MTZ and Claw come in 35x12.50x15. That would be my choices. I'm a fan of the STT Pro.

Yeah I had been planning on the STT Pro but then started reading all the Cooper horror stories online and scared myself out of them. I suspect the prior quality issues are resolved...haven't heard any problems from those who have them...they look sweet.

I ran out a set of 35' STT's, and loved em so much I just got a set of the STT Pro's. only got a few hundred miles on them, but i'm planning for more soon.

Are you sure you want that much sidewall? 10" of sidewall is a lot. If your use dictates it is a good idea, keep with it. But if your normal usage doesn't require that much sidewall I would look at a larger rim. It will open up tire choices and probably a lot better street manors.

This /\/\ is true, but....

Skip 16's since there will be a large amount of 10 ply tires for 3/4 and 1 ton trucks.
Rougher ride than necessary.

17's will prolly look okay with a 35....but they kind of look funny, ie,..low profile with 33's....to me anyways....

Can't go wrong in today's world of tires.
Sooo many choices.

In my case the 15" inch size was literally priced $100 per tire less than the 17" size. With so many 17" rims today I can't understand how high volume sizes with less rubber can contribute to $100 higher price...but that influenced my decision also.
