I'm pretty sure mines a September 65 build and it has the little levers. Before I had a new vacuum line hooked up I got caught in a surprise rain shower and I can tell you those levers sure aren't comfortable on the thumbs haha

My 9/65' has them. Seen several a couple sets for sale recently but the levers were broken off.

Thanks Guys
None of the other broncos with the vacuum wipers had them. I thought it was possible but not likely they had been changed. I guess like all the early 65 built broncos they just grabbed whatever they had out of a box so some had them and some did not. Just wanted to make sure they were appropriate.

I'm looking for some of those! like this, correct?

My 11/65 build didn't come with them, but I just assumed they were lost, as there are holes for them. I bought a set of from a seller on eBay a few years ago but haven't yet installed them. Check out http://wiperman.com/. I emailed him and sent him the picture from the manual and he pointed me to the correct auction on eBay.

Good luck!

Anyone have pics of their window and door handles? I’ve read that they are the style that uses clips? I have the ones pictured, door handles are stamped ‘61, window cranks are stamped BAAK and I have no idea what that means, my 72 has the spiral style with hollow handle and then I’ve got the one solid with hollow handle, just trying to get my 66 back as year correct as possible thanks -Jeff

Yep from what I can see there. I can look at numbers this evening if you need them.

Most of the parts listed are unique to 66 Broncos, but some of the parts like window cranks, door handles, knobs, carry over into other Ford vehicles, which makes it easier to source parts.

I'm almost positive the headlight and vent knobs are identical to my 1957 Ford sedan.

anyone know what the BAAK represents? was this maybe before they started the decade-to-letter deal?

Where did you get the 6,593 Broncos for August production?

That would have been over 1/4 of the entire 66 production just in the first month of a completely new model which I find to be very unlikely.

After gathering 66 u13 vins for the last couple of years, that high production number in 8/65' is very very likely. 70% of the 66' u13s I've found were made in August through October 65', with most of them made in August and September.
