As soon as the weather is good enough to ride the bike to work, I am going to take the front of the body,ie fenders, grill and hood, off to do some chemo on the rusted parts. I am pretty sure they are salvagable and I have more time than money and a decent eye for body work. I was wondering if there is a site that shows how it all goes together, where all the bolts are, and if there is any thing that must come off first. Also what about the front clip and inner fenders, I think they are welded?? I know some guys here are not running inners, but this is a daily driver, how do you keep stuff clean and doesnt that allow rust to take hold easier since it dosent keep the wet out?? what about engine cages, I have seen pics here, anyone have a write up or some basic measurements? thanks guys any info or thoughts is greatly appreciated

sheriff

i just pulled the front clip of my bronc 2 weeks ago and cut out inner fenders. just prop the hood up on the winshie.d or take it off first. than remove the bolts from the door post and along the inside lip on top ot the fender. i think there are 2 or 4 bolts holding the grill to the support along with the hood latch. now get a budy and pull the grill and fenders off all as one piece. it is a lot easier to pull the fenders off the grill on the ground than it is on the truck. at least for me because the clip on speed nuts rusted and spun.
