I've made a little more progress on the resin half cab with tracks. I narrowed a full size rear heavy duty step bumper, narrowed a front winch bumper and added a tall light hoop with lights to see over a snow plow. Added side rocker sliders, made a roll bar with lights.

You may be the resident expert after all is said and done :)

Here's my first one. I doing 2, one for when I first bought my Bronco, a 74' with the Ranger package and I'll be doing another one the way it sits now in my avatar.

Nice, especially on the side stripes/decals, those things are a bear

Got the body of the resin half cab painted and assembled as 1 piece. Still in the works though. I totally suck at making windows/windshield, etc. Probably come back later and redo after it gets to bothering me enough.

Got the cage extended and primed for the 4 dr model. The chassis is put together using a 3.5 lift from fireball modelworks. The frame, rear driveshaft, and exhaust was all lengthened.

A little more progress on the 4 door. Still primer, going to try and get the body lines/gaps a little better and finish the sliders before painting.

Calling this one done other than a few spots I have noticed that need touchup. This one was a lot of fun to do even though that body was very rough. Was a little dissapointed that you really can't see the winch line and hook after the snow plow is on, in hindsight I should have made the cable longer and hooked it to the clevis on the drivers side.

Another outstanding job, nice work. How many is that for you? If you get a chance post a picture of them all together. ;)

That makes 6 not counting the trailer, have used 7 kits. The pieces left over from the trailer is where I got the idea to try this 4 Dr. That was not an easy task, almost tossed it several times but certainly glad I kept coming back to it and was able to complete. The body, the floor, and the frame all have to be lengthened and lined up perfect for things to fit. AND, just like with the real ones, don't add up how much you spend. There is a lot of custom resin parts. The grabber blue paint cost $15 by the time it got to my door.
A pic of all of them together would be cool, I'll do that tonight if I get a chance.

There's a good laugh....I'm just not scared to try and screwup. It's fun and a lot cheaper than modifying the real ones...and keeps my neck intact.

Amen brother.. my time "NEEDS" to be on the big rig, but maybe someday I'll test one of these things out

Here they are. I thought I had used 7 kits but actually only used 6 kits. By having the resin half cab I got off ebay I was able to complete the trailer, the snow plow bronco, and 4 Dr using 2 kits. I noticed when I put the snow plow bronco on the table last night that leverage from the plow has the bumper tilting downward enough for the plow to touch the surface. I will have to go back and put a brace under it. The 4Dr is the only time I removed the side molding from the body, with the inserts it just didn't look right with it on there to me, that was a long process to get that somewhat smooth.

I have 3 more started ( along with a few other non bronco things) but they won't get completed anytime soon. One is trying to resemble one local when I was in high school, one is a red roadster/green acres, and the other will have 44 inch IROKs to scale.

All great looking models, nice work. Where else are you getting aftermarket parts besides Olsen Brothers? I have 2 more I need to build, just can't find time to get going, one of these days. :(
