Hood vents, keep em closed and smoothed out. A small hoop on the front bumper looks cool and if you decide to get rid of the grill trim, let me know, I'll take it off your hands.

Hey Jeff, have you ever seen a hood where they cut the cowl vents out and replace them with stainless steel or aluminum mesh?.. Check out the image to see what material I'm talking about bro..

For light ring bezels- Since you're going to paint the Bronco green with silver accents, what about if you paint the rings silver? ... Maybe same silver as the bumpers will be....

As far as attaching your custom bikini top to your windshield, you use a the bracket TBP sells which is awesome because you'll be able to side it right on and take it right of just by un buttoning 2 snaps. Check out the image

Just my opinions 😁.. Thanks again for the car show tickets man

For hood vents, I think it looks better to cut them out and back with some form of mesh, honeycomb, etc.

Agreed on the hood. Cutout with mesh backing the opening. I also favor a couple rally stripes down the hood that align to the cutout openings. Give it some thought.

Thats what Im leaning towards. Hopefully cutting the back ones out isn't too much of a pain.

Yes I have and these openings are so small Im not sure it would look good.

I saw these at Cars & Coffee 2 weeks ago. Might go this route

I just sold my WH riser but it was the taller version. It looks like the WH motors stick up about 1.5" above the windshield. I don't think it will be too big of an issue.

Ya not Broncos in the car show last week, bummer

Good idea

Got the dash out and it desperately needs some attention. Prior owner flipped the glovebox and speaker grill but was not a welder to say the least. He also added a temp gauge between the lights and wipers and put a massive stereo hole as well as a toggle switch by the ignition.

I thought about buying a new dash and starting over but how is everyone making the necessary accessory holes? It might be easier to cut those out individually and weld them back in where I want them.

Im deleting the ash tray for sure but any thoughts on deleting the speaker grill? It looks cool but I won't be running dash speakers

More debate over the weekend on paint scheme. Its a never ending battle!

Dad now wants the cage, bumpers and dash black. I still think a silver/argent grill will look best but that and the wheels will be the only silver on it.

I want to do silver/argent grill and bumpers with a body matched dash and cage. There will be a lot of padding on the cage so the only visible areas will be the bars by the dash

The one thing we finally agreed on is the exterior color. F8 Green from the new Hellcats

FWIW, I say delete the speaker grill, ash tray and stereo hole. I am ordering a blank dash from BC and only keeping what I need (AC controls, lights, hazards).
I am putting my stereo in a WH console because the changes in stereos (back up cameras) are changing so fast I don't want to commit the dash space.

I love the green paint but can't visualize it with the vinyl interior. Any pics of what you are going for seat wise.

Im back to a retro stereo with two 6.5" speakers on the trans tunnel. I've only found 1 sound bar I like that fits and its going to cost more than a nice clean dash setup.

Modified '05 Mustang seats up front and a matching fold and tumble rear seat. Console, quarter panels and door panels also match the seats. Seat bases, seat belts and the floor vinyl are black

Ive got him back to green on the dash. Now I need find photos of green broncos with black grills/bumpers/cages

Them seats are pretty slick.. Don't sit too high for you?

Thanks! I wanted a high back seat with 3 point belts for safety reasons. I've never had stock seats in there but from photos I've seen they sit just as low as stock seats. I had the upholstery shop take 3" off the headrests so they match the rear seat headrests. They looked very tall before but they are much better now. They slide about a foot back and forward, have lumbar adjustments and tilt so you can climb in the back.

Any grill photos? Interior?

Half the Bronco is sandblasted and Im sanding down the tub this weekend. A few weeks away from paint so I need to make some decisions. Heres where Im at now:

Uncut dark metallic green body. No hard top
Seats, console, door and rear quarter panels are 2 tone brown vinyl
Black vinyl flooring with black seat belts
Cage, bumpers, handles, mirrors, emblems and gas caps will be powdercoated in "mini black texture"

Green, Black or Silver grill? Leaning towards green grill but what do I do with the grill trim and headlight rings? Nothing else on the Bronco will be chrome/silver besides the wheels.

I am doing my dash as well. Decided to order fresh from BC. They will cut the holes to size and at the locations you specify. I am going Spartan. 3 AC vents, glove box moved left a few inches, push button starter, lights and wipers to the left of the stock instrument cluster.

My thought was I'm going to see the dash more than I will see the front grill.

Do like the rims.
