That thing is plumb sick! Paint looks totally different in the sun. Look forward to seeing it finished.

Yea. I'm not a very patient person, so I had everything laid out on a timeline waiting for me so I wouldn't have any down time waiting for parts. So far so good, but painting it took a few weeks longer than anticipated due to weather and all.

So far been about 4-5 months off the road. So not terrible. I'm trying to get it back up by end of summer but the wiring will likely be what monkeys the whole project.

So if anyone wants to help install the painless harness who had done it and is proficient with it that would be awesome! Haha

Also, thanks everyone for the kind words. I was worried my new school approach wouldn't be favored by everyone. I was quite hesitant to even post a build thread.

Sort of got side tracked with some family stuff and work over the past few weeks. Plus since I hit it hard for a while I just needed a break.

Engine is going in tomorrow. Will update with pictures tomorrow. Once engine is in, wiring will be next. Then fuel system. Finally brakes. Roll cage will be bolted in and MIGS built me some awesome pivots brackets to tie into frame. Huge shout out to him. Then sound system and then I'm rolling.

Sorry for the delay!

well, frustrating day...

i got the engine all ready to go, got it up on the cherry picker, and thought to myself, i should really make sure the flex plate/torque converter fit together...welllllll, they didn't...i called both companies, and they said they should, then they checked themselves and they didn't...so waiting on parts...

here are a few pics of my excitement phase, follow by the flex plate/torque converter realization...notice the torque converter bottoms out on the flex plate so the bolts don't even hardly make it through the plate
