FL 1966 U-15 restomod Poppy Red

1966 Bronco U-15 Wagon
Complete frame off restomod. Has approximately 200 miles on build. Bronco was purchased out of Idaho in 2012
and I've attempted to compile a list of modifications below. More pictures available.

Frame:
Frame and both axle housings were stripped to bare metal and painted with POR15
Both axles are original to truck
Warn locking hubs
Front disc brake conversion
Rear drums rebuilt and all new
braided extended stainless steel braided brake hoses (master cylinder to hardline, rear frame to rear axle and front brake hoses)
Ford superduty Hydroboost w/ Dodge Diplomat master cylinder
2 ½” suspension lift
8” original style wheels
New LT33X10.50R-15 BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 C
Ford dogdish hubcaps
Original spare mounted inside tailgate

Driveline:
2011 Ford 5.0 Coyote
2004 4R70W rebuilt w/ new torque converter
Baumann electronic transmission controller
Sean Hyland Power steering pump conversion for 5.0
New ford explorer radiator w/ internal transmission cooler, and Taurus electric fan
Original Dana 20 transfer case, rebuilt
WH 23 gallon tank with in-tank electric pump
Fuel pressure regulator
Handbuilt exhaust headers
Original driveshafts
Front driveshaft not installed or sized
TBP replacement track bar w/ bushings
TBP adjustable drag link
Polyurethane motor mounts
TBP AOD transmission adapter
New transfer case mount
New brake hardlines

WH Highlander fiberglass hood
New floorpans driver and passenger side

Son of a... I was in Oviedo a few weeks ago, would have loved to see this in person! Might have brought it home with me.

Glad you and Eric worked something out.

Meeting your Dad Ron was great.

His beat was where I grew up and still live today.
I personally know two of his retired Buddies.

Pictures actually don't do that eb justice.

You should have seen it in person.
Better than the photos showed.
Owner is super busy with a new job and just doesn't have time for it.
The new owner is going to love it.

I'm bummed I was not smart enough to have one of you local guys be my eyes. I was next in line, but couldn't get there until Friday evening. Kevin was great to talk to and super honest about the build. I look forward to seeing more of it on here, and congrat's to the new owner.
