AZ 4x4x2 steering gears

I have a '76 with pwr steering with play in the shaft. Will this unit work with my present steering shaft? Other than drilling a couple of new holes and using tubing spacers, is this a pretty straight forward swap? I have plated both sides of the frame already.

Input shaft on the box is smaller than a stock power steering box. Your current u-joint will need to be changed with this box.

like thegreatjustino said you have to change the u-joint. drill you new holes and maybe some new hoses and your good to go. the vendors sell a lower steering shaft that works well also. i take trade-ins on the old stock steering gears.
