Paint!!

Well, its been a while in the since an update. The body has been with body guy for quite some time. Small time guy that does lots of smaller projects so mine has been slow progress. Got these pics today, I will go by tomorrow to see for myself.
I've got everything to put it back together. Just need it back in my garage to get it done.

It's Arcadia Blue (66 Commercial Ford color) and Wimbledon White.

Back was here it belongs - HOME

Well Bronco cam home today. Time to put it all back together. The chassis is complete. Engine, transmission, axles, brakes, frame, all done. I have a new wiring harness (Centech), a FiTech, power brake booster, CJ Pony exhaust, and a bunch of smaller items. I think I have everything, but I am sure there are lots of bolts, nuts and screws

Not sure where to start or in what order I should assemble. I will The hard top went to the body shop when the Bronco was dropped off.

A couple of areas of the body I am not happy about, that I spoke to body about and he is willing to address once I get it assembles. His plan is to let me finish, in that process I will likely ding a few things up. So he want to wait to touch up. Once that is done he will wet sand and polish.

The two areas are pside door and hood. The bottom left of the pside door does not fit flush (pic) and the hood has a bit of crown on it in the middle.

We replaced a lot of metal, door post and pillar and kick panels Everything lines up well, except pside door.

The front lip of the hood was trashed. He cut out bad and welded in new metal. Seems to have made the front bow up a bit.

Going into it, I did not expect perfection as I could not pay for perfection. I need to temper my expectations based on this.

Any thoughts or input are welcomed.

Will

Door shouldn't be too hard to adjust, the hood, maybe put a block on either side and push down in the middle might tweek it enough. Good luck, Ken By the way it's looking good.

Light of day

Here are a few more pics. I spent more time looking at it than doing anything to it today. I have most of what I need to put it together, I just need to come up with a plan.

So far Centech has been a breeze to install. Everything is very well labeled. If you look at my fifth pic, you can see the hole I cut for the Pside wiring. So far that is the only hole I have had to cut. Did not really measure, just eyeballed it to be close where Dside was.
