Finally finished up the fiberglass Bronco Design hood install. Drilling and tapping 13 holes took forever! The Wildhorses shox n the hood brackets would not work but BC Broncos shipped me 2 of their smaller brackets. Removed the hood and brackets for what seemed like the 10th time and got it boxed up for paint. I then realized I never got a photo of the hood up on the new shocks. D'oh!

Moved onto the fenders and grill removal which only took about 20 minutes. Prior owner must have had them off in the last 10 years as all the bolts came out fine. Almost no rust was nice to see. Taking the grill and cage to a sandblaster next week. 2 more weekend removing all of the smaller items and its ready for paint estimates

Also got the BC Broncos dash mocked up and it fits great. Just need to figure out all the holes I need to cut

Finished removing the passenger rear door post. Cut the fender out yesterday. You can see the drivers side is done in the background!!

Giddy as a schoolgirl..got my Toughbook talking to the Holley HP ECM, ran through all the loads and cals, and the new engine is now all set up for initial light off.

Was kinda disappointed that the Holley on-line forum could not find me a Base Map for a supercharged 239 V-8 running 19-pound injectors...but I worked around it. :p

Ordered a six pack set of gauges from Classic Instruments in Boyne City, MI, and toured their facility with George, a sales rep. http://www.classicinstruments.com/
I ordered the nickel finish All American Series with a 4 5/8 speedo and 3 5/8 tach. The blurry pic is what I ordered, only with a larger speedo. No, not the skimpy swimmer kind, the kind that fits almost perfectly in the stock Bronco gauge cluster hole. They also make an exact fit Bronco gauge cluster. The more clear pic gives a better idea of how the nickel finish looks. Pick them up in about two weeks.

Made a new gauge and spaker pod
The one I made before would not have worked with the AX15
The old was made out of wood and fiberglass

The new I used aluminum and pushed it under the dash more
Simple but should be ok

Here's a link to the Classic Instruments direct fit Bronco cluster. http://shop.classicinstruments.com/bronc-1966-77

I like individual gauges, but that's a sexy beast right there Howard. I like the layout.

Looks like you ran afoul of the photobucket-o-crap there fdimauro. Been a big stink about it for a couple of months now, but maybe you hadn't run into it yet? You have to upgrade your service (for not a little cash) to let others see your pics on a forum like this.
I think for some it's an over $100 and others it's an over $300 upgrade!
