I am currently in the process of putting a 4R70W transmission in my 1967 Bronco. I am upgrading to 4.56 gears and my current setup had a mini spool in the rearend that I wanted to remove so i bought new spider gears. A friend of mine is installing the gears for me and said that the carrier is worse out and that I need another one. Does anyone that installed a full spool have one laying around that they would part with or know where I can buy just the carrier? Thanks for any help or advice!

A little off topic but what is the planned use of Bronco? What size tires?

There all over Craigslist. Just make sure someone who knows what they’re looking at inspects it before you buy

I plan on using it around town weekly and small commutes 25 to 50 miles on highway every other week. I will probably take it off roading some but plan on cruises with my family. It has a 3 1/2 inch suspension lift with 33x12.50 tires. I wanted to remove the mini spool just for safer on road driving purposes.

Perfect opportunity to put it a Detroit Truetrac IMO, but not $28.
