Air valve stem on brake booster mount

Not sure what setup you have but I cant think of any setups that have a air valve stem. Maybe some one added one in for some reason??

Me either - has me puzzled. The valve stem is metal and mounts through a hole on the the brake booster mount. The stem then tees off and has small 1/8 plastic tubing coming out each end of tee. The tubing is broken off and dry rotted. I never noticed it before but repainting the mount and discovered it. Can imagined what it would have been for

I think air bags were an option for a dealer installed plow kit. Or someone installed air shocks at one time.
