Putting in the WH version from retrosound as we speak. Seems to have more options as in blutooth, sirius, and remote location of guts behind panel.

Pluis, none of those are stock EB faces, thats a later model year.

Is yours cut for a shaft radio already? That's not the one that fits the stock dash. That said, I installed one in the half cab I recently sold and it worked out very well. It has a lot of features and a lot of different inputs. Plus the bluetooth worked very well with my phone for hands free.

I installed this unit in my 71's uncut dash and after sorting out poor reception caused by a defective new Scott Drake replacement antenna, it works great.

The Tech I spoke with in Henderson, NV (Greg) was very helpful, if fact I looked him up at their SEMA booth and continued our conversation. He recommend their Amp that is plug and play with their unit and again I have been very pleased. A little hard finding a place to put it, but they are working extension cables to do this. (Cables were a little short to reach the center console) I bought everything at WH, except the speakers. I have 4.5" in the doors and 6x9 in the rear.

Here is how I mounted it: I added the wire loom and such to clean it up...

Ya all I want is AM/FM/Bluetooth/AUX.

Ya I put 1974 in the site and thats all that came up. I dont need an exact replica, just something vintage looking with modern guts.

No the prior owner had a new stereo in it with a DIN hole that was not cut square. So Im filling it back in as well as the temp gauge he added. Need to find the stereo first though

Is that the retrosound model? Looks nice

Yes, its the Retrosound Model 3. Fits the stock 5 holes. You could just fill the cut out with a solid sheet metal patch and drill the 5 holes required. It will give you AM/FM?Bluetooth?AUX plus USB and iPod.

Interesting, so the quality is lacking on the aux connection? Or it just needs more volume?

I was just looking at these and like them a little more than ones I posted above. AM/FM/CD/AUX/USB plus I could just put this in the DIN hole I have now

I think you can add bluetooth on for $40 with this:
