Engine has about 200 miles since complete overhaul. Ran lean, now disassembled. One cyl sleeved, needs finish bore and honed. Have all outside equipment, manifolds carburetor etc. Needs reassembled. It has been balanced. Crank was turned, rods resized, pin fit, cam bearings you name it. Crank is forged has been turned to .020-.020.. Heads have sodium filled exhaust valves. $2,500 worth of machine work was done by Evans Speed Equipment in the early 90's.
Engine is a low compression (7.5 to 1) used mostly on farm water pumps from what I understand. It came out of my 72 Dodge RV. Only the block is the same as a passenger car. NONE of the outside equipment is the same as a 440.
