Went to pick up the rig last week. After the exhaust was put on (Flowmaster Delta 40, 2-into-1), John heard a ticking in the upper end of the motor. Pulled the valve cover and found a broken rocker arm. Went to the parts store and fixed that one, then discovered two more on the other side. All 3 were broken in the exact same place. Really looks like the engine builder torqued these down, when they shouldn't have been torqued, as it's a non-roller block. Luckily, all the parts were found still in the head so don't believe any damage was done to the motor. Ordered a new set from Summit Racing and will get those installed in the coming week, along with a couple other minor things to finish up. This thing looks great, can't wait to finally get it, drive it, and show it off!
