Finally got my project going over the last month. Have a 66 u13 bronco that I finally got running after sitting for most of my life. New carb , ignition coil , fuel pump , gas tank and fuel lines, spark plugs and wires and she is starting up with ease. Next is seats , roll bar and work on getting all the lights to work.

Finished the front end, buttoned up the axles, reassembled the disc brakes and last step was to disassemble the tie rods, inspect, clean and grease all the fittings glad I didn't overlook that, they were nasty. On to the transfer case snd when completed the body will be next.

3G alternator swap today. The poor 1G just couldn't keep up with EFI, fan, lights, etc. At idle. Long overdue update.

God bless you and yours my friend!

Wish you the best and hope it steers west of the islands. I've been through Katrina and Harvey. It sucks.

Stay safe.

Thanks guys, appreciate your kind words. Just started getting island-wide rain this afternoon. Nothing serious, just seems like
regular rain. No winds yet. Normal rain I can handle, sideways rain sucks...

Edit: Glad I recently got my Bronco back on the road (head gasket job).

Got my new Winters shifter. Went with the RockCrawler Stock gate. Eliminates the one notch at neutral. Just sized it up for the install. Should be just a "few hours project" and they never are.
I figure I won't go from 3rd to Rev by mistake anyway with that pattern, not sure why I would need an extra notch at N. I just drive it in 2nd all the time anyway.

Jumped into the deep end today... started breaking down the front axle for my gear swap. I have the axles removed and the yoke off. Trying to get it broke down while all my parts are on the way.

So where to begin?
Started EFi swap last week, after several hrs on the teley with
Summit and Holley tech support with no avail from either, I finally managed to get the Bronco running again. That's the good news. The "BAD" , in the process of replacing the distributor I losted the oil pump shaft, it fell into the depths of the oil pan. So yesterday I had to remove my oil pan to retrieve it and put back in place. For those of you whom have never do this while the engine is still in the truck, I do not recommend it, not a pleasant experience. (I have no garage, no concrete, just an old barn with a gravel floor.) Anywho, its back together and running. Today plan on going on a short drive to test everything out.
