Was the orange line starting at 70mph an OEM thing on some years or just something that folks started asking for?

Hmm, I have a '76 with no such line. Either that or it is completed faded off! Anyway, love your work and will be sending my cluster your way as soon as I install my new t-stat and ensure proper operation.
