Figured I should update this thread. I have got a few things done since the last time I posted. So far I have:

Installed Flaming River column.
Had Viperwolf fix my shifter linkage on the C4
Replaced all fluids, except radiator, more on that later
Replaced front floor pans
Installed windshield and hard top windows
WH 1" body lift
WH C4 shifter linkage from column
Pertronix Ignitor
New rotor, cap, plugs, and wires
Cleaned carb, installed 1" spacer
Replace alternator
WH illuminator Headlight harness with H4 bulbs
New tires
WH throttle cable

Next step up is:
Custom cage from my brother in law(should start next week)
Procar seats from WH
Fold and tumble rear seat from WH
Hummer 3 point seat belts
Clean, prime, and apply Raptor liner in the inside of the tub
New radiator from WH, fan shroud
Run AT cooler lines to the new radiator since the PO has no cooler for the C4, only a loop of hose with a filter in it.....%)
WH C4 kickdown cable
New intake gaskets

Should be a fun upcoming month. I will post pictures as it progresses.

I got the C4 cooler lines installed, not too bad of a job with the radiator out and removing the alternator helped a lot. New radiator is in as well as the Ron Davis full circle fan shroud. A little disappointed in the shroud though as it say to order the stock one if you have a 1" body lift. When trying to mount it to the radiator the bottom of the fan would hit the shroud. So my temp fix was to get the fan centered in the shroud and then drill through the top radiator flange and shroud and use two 1/4x1/2" bolts to secure it. I have to move it to the shop to start on the cage and this was easier for me than draining the radiator, pulling the radiator and then removing the shroud. I will fab up something to correctly connect the shroud to the radiator while the cage is being built but this will work for now.

I also replaced the intake gaskets. I was really sweating this for some reason but it went smooth and best of all not leaks!!! Next up...Cage!!

I did a new intake a couple weeks ago and didnt put a fat enough bead of RTV on the backside of manifold, leaked, had to redo, so good job!

I also remember new C4 lines on my 66 Mustang being a big PITA, keep plugging away Matt

This is actually an excellent, and can be permanent, way to mount the shroud.
Simple, clean and does not need any additional parts for the top mount at least.
Still need to do the little aluminum strip to secure the bottom, but that's pretty straightforward.

Different ways of handling the top bit, would be to drill then tap the holes so all you need to do is thread in the screws/bolts from the outside. Or you can weld/glue a small nut to the inside. Or you could even use nut-serts for that clean pro look.
The only thing I'd add maybe (because I like continuity) would be a strip of aluminum between the top strap of the radiator and the part of the shroud that the bolts go through.
Not needed, but brings the shroud out the same thickness as the one at the bottom will.

Thanks Paul, and I do like your idea of adding a strip of aluminum to the top to help finish it off. While the engine compartment isn't pretty that will certainly give the radiator/shroud area a more finished look.

Finally took the seats out of the boxes and installed the sliders. Bronco should be going into the shop this weekend so we can get started on the cage. Super pumped.

Bronco is now in my brother in laws shop. He has started laying out the floor plates. After some discussion we are not going to tie the cage to the frame, well besides at the body mounts in front of the seats and at the back by the tailgate. I wont be doing any hardcore wheeling with it, and if I get in any accident it will be on the road. We decided to not tie it to the frame in case the accident is so bad that it separates the body from the frame all occupants will be in a cage "bubble" away from the drivetrain. Hopefully I will never have to test this but I have faith in his design and workmanship. We will be going thru the dash with the A pillar. I will update as it progresses. Once he has it all tacked together we will pull the top, take the cage out so he can tig weld it all together and I will spray Raptor liner on the tub.

More cage progress, the main frame is done, next up is the cross bars on top and the seat platforms. We are going to try and tie it into all six body mounts that are inside the cab. Will post more as it progresses. He is also working the race truck and Jeep that are in the pictures. Since those jobs pay better than the bronco ;) they are getting done first.

Bronco is now in my brother in laws shop. He has started laying out the floor plates.

Please tell me your BIL kept his measurements/drawings and is planning on producing those floor plates. The front ones are really, really interesting at the least.

Thanks Yeller, he takes a lot of pride in his work and is one of the reasons it can be slow going at times.

Jax, I will ask him, I am sure he as them saved.

Got the top off yesterday for the first time since owning this bronco. Sure looks better with no top since the doors aren't on!! He got the top cross bars tacked in, still debating on whether to run a center bar to split the front half, gonna mock it up and see what it looks like. Next update will be the floor tracks and tying that all into the cage. After that it will be welding it all up, pulling it out, raptor the interior, and paint the cage. I really like how this is looking, super stoked!!!

Went to the shop yesterday and got some more pics!!! Rear seat platform is under way, waiting on more material to start the front seat platform. Front grab handles are tacked in. We are also going to design an extension for the passenger floor pan to bring it forward to the same spot as the drivers side, and will put some kind of door on it to store tools. We hope to have it out of the bronco for final welding by the end of this month. Stay tuned.

Don't forget to add some tabs to the windshield frame to take the vibrations out of the windshield.
