I haven't had any luck so far finding what I need. Anyone in the Salem / Portland areas know of a good u-pick place where I might be able to find some mustang seats?

Thanks - Jim

B&R in Corvallis/Albany or there is a little place in Turner that has been very fair to me.

X2 on B&R in Albany/Corvallis

G&R Auto Wrecking, who also owns the Pick-A-Part locations as well, has locations in Independence (X2), Albany, Turner, Salem (X2), Eugene.

Portland has a bunch, but I've rarely ever needed to travel that far...when I did, I went to (LKQ) Foster Auto Parts.

Fox body Mustang front seats from CL. Guy was from Cincinnati and drove them up to Akron to visit the SUMMIT store. Met him there and bought them. Can't remember the price, couple hundred bucks???

Bought Front and 3rd row 2004 Explorer seats on ebay from the bone yard in Georgia. Price and shipping was very reasonable at the time......been a while - $450??? Ended up trashing the fronts after putting the Mustang seats in. Couldn't resell them locally and couldn't even give them away.

Both sides have electric lumbar control - necessity for me after 5 lumbar surgeries. Only have drivers side hooked up at this point. Also have the adjustable piece (bolster?) for behind your knees - supposed to be touching the back of your knees for comfort??

I don't drive a lot, maybe 25 miles max at a time. I am very happy with them to this point.

I would buy them again, if I had to do it over. Wish the rear seat from the Mustang would have been usable, as I can't justify trying to match upholstery on the fronts and rear seats. But, that isn't really important as this is not a show piece by any stretch of the imagination.

Hey Pops, how low do those sit? I don't want to be bending over to look out the windshield!

They sit LOW - which is why I got them. I had the electric Explorer seats in first and I was looking through the top windshield frame all the time!!! No more.

Swapped the Mustang mounting bracket for the Bronco one and only had to drill 2 holes to mount them.

I'm 6' tall by the way.

I use the pick a part in Albany since it was close to my old office. You could just walk in and go wander through the yard, pay for what you brought back if you could carry it.

The yard in Independence you have to have someone with you. I needed cup holder out of an F150. I wanted to go wander around and look but they don't allow that. They would almost prefer you tell them what you want and they send the yard monkeys out to get it.

Haven't tried the one in Turner.

I have Escort GT seats in mine which look like the Mustang seats but the head rest is a square halo looking thing. Doesn't block visibility too bad. Nice velour material. Paid $92 for the pair in Spokane about 25 years ago.
