Top of the bed panel/door is 61in. The picture is at full compression/up travel, that is why there is 6in blocks under the tires.
61" is high. Will it clear the garage door? Mine is at 54" with 37's, 4.5” suspension and I have 1" body lift. I love this project for sure.

Awesome project. I don’t feel so bad on how long my build took now that i see yours. . Yours is allitle more elaborate that mine though. You are putting together one awesome ride. Keep the hammer down! Would then like to see it at Super Celebration or somewhere over east. Maybe back in Aggieland one day. Gig’em ‘91.

More than one update in the same year, I am on a roll. I finished mocking up suspension so I have started welding everything.

That is one heck of a project! Definitely top notch. Good thing you started on it in your twenties. You'll still have time to enjoy it.

Funny you say that. I have a neighbor that lives down the road from me, just a wave and say hi neighbor. A few weeks ago he stopped by and talked with me and told me he hoped to see me finish it before he dies.....he is retired. The project has definitely taken longer than I thought, but I am finally in a position to put a little more time in it where I am working a fairly normal schedule, so hopefully it may happen sooner than later.

Since I started the project:
Remodeled two houses.
Developed a 12 acre parcel of land
Grassroots startup on petrochemical plant (3.5yr project)
Been promoted 3 times
Recently took a new job
Oh..and now have two wonderful children.....good thing I had a 4-seater in mind from the beginning.

Most of the core body work is done so I can start welding out the chassis.
