For what it's worth, I fixed my left rear blinker/brake light issues on the 75 F250. I had tried TSS, headlight switch, socket, bulb, grounds, etc. They just didn't want to work when headlights on.
I went back to the start and replaced the socket and bulb. It now works. So, it was a) the bulb was bad, b) the socket was bad, c) the bulb was in wrong—the aftermarket jobs let you put it in both ways—or d) the wiring connectors weren’t secure enough.
