It's amazing what a redneck can do with a welder and a grinder. Took almost all day but I managed to build a shifter to work the doubler and it actually turned out well. I used the middle section of an old T shifter for the pivot point, part of an old bottom alternator adjusting bracket, and a handle I got from JB Fab. Didn't take any progress pics but here is an after shot.
The D20 shifter is J shift twin from JB Fab, I shortened the prong for the front and welded 1/4 inch studs to the Twin stick and to the rails of the D20, tied them together with 1/4 heims and threaded rod. This was very close to how my 73 is done, it has turn buckles but I couldn't find any that weren't flimsy.
Slowly moving along
A little more progress......the last of it until after OCBR
AND...finally.....a 5 and half year pile of parts is moving on it's on. Getting very close to being ready for a trail.
Get the exhaust done this week hopefully. Needs a new master cylinder, seat belts for rear seat, add a fan shroud, few other loose ends....
The mission to have 2 offroad ready early broncos is finally a reality. Nice to be able to have enough seats for the family.

Hey JW, what size are those IROK's???
39.5x13.50-15
I'm swapping the front springs, 4.5 in place of 3.5 to level it up but that's it.
Calling it done for the task at hand, getting it back on the road. AND, a lot quicker than expected. Drove it around the block a few times last weekend. A few tweaks here and there and off to the off-road park next weekend (Nov 4th)
