Engine Time Update: Engines in

Well Ive been wanting to do this for a couple of years, but the old engine just kept on running. Several months ago I decided to bite the bullet and started gathering parts. Yesterday I pulled the engine and started on a couple of things I wanted to do while I had the engine out.the pics show the engine freshly pulled then the engine bay witch is going to get cleaned up and painted. The next pic is of some old air conditioning vent covers that I got from work for free the cut to fit inner fender wells. The next pics are of the engine bay cleaned painted and vents installed. Tomorow Im going to clean the parts I need off the old engine and get them ready to go on the new remanufactured engine I bought.

The engine was done by a shop in Pheonix. Well finally got all the paint projects done and dropped the engine in today, Still have to get distributor and wiring done, hook up the new exhaust, and get the cooling system back in. Should have it runnung and back on the road tomorow. Heres a pic of how its looking now.

Is that engine painted silver/grey or has it not been painted?

Well didnt get it running today,Tommorow for sure had a couple of unforseen part runs that always seem to happen when ever I do anything. The engine is painted silver. The shop that build it painted it but I liked it so much I just left it. After its running tommorow Ill get some pics posted.
Thanks John

Its in and running, I love it. Ive had the Bronc almost 20 years and it was time. I do have a couple of questions. I have a Magnaflow 12198 dual 2 1/2 in and 3 inch out man that thing is loud does anybody know of a muffler with the same configuration thats a little quieter. Also I used the extreme motor mounts now I fell a slight vibration and was wondering if this was normal due to the motor mounts being stiffer. Attached is a pic of finished engine bay and engine altough I do plan to organize the plug wires better.
Thanks John
