• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

I've been considering a swap from 3sp to a np435 . Would anything else be needed to do the swap ? I understand it could be a hassle but would you be able to ship ? Northern Indiana 46750.

Smontague... My Running Buddy put the NP435 Behind his 6 banger.. & It was a great swap.. The old 3 speed Just didn't help his Bronco on the trail .. But the low 1st gear of the Np 435 it was like he had a new Bronco.

Yes you'll need that 1 inch adapter. But some one needs to tell you what all you'll need. I've only done 2 & those were 15 years ago.
... THERE was a pretty good discussion on here just maybe 3 weeks ago about this swap . Maybe someone can post up a link to it.

here are some pictures of another 435 that has been done. they cut the front part of the rear tailshaft of the 435 and cut the front off a v8 adapter and welded it. 7.5 inches total length needed or you can buy 1 inch adapter plate that goes between rear of 435 and 6 cylinder adapter.Or toms sells an adapter already cut and welded. you have to turn in a core.
