I was picking up a case of tranny fluid for our C4 and the stock guy brought out a case of type FA instead of Type F and I didn't see it quick enough.
Now it's at home with me.
Anybody know what the difference is and why I need to exchange it for type F instead..
Or is FA ok to use??
'73 Roadster conversion, 302 4bbl, C4, PS, PB, 2" body/3" susp. lift. 35"
Father/Son Complete ground up rebuild w/ Roush shortblock and original rusty body. JBG for everything, except for Duff shock hoops/springs/long shocks
Not sure about the FA, but the F doesn't have slipping agents like Dexron III, but with a fresh transmission you can run either, but B&M recommends type F with their performance converters and shift kits.. Just something to think about..
