Removable Window Frame?

I was checking out e-bay and came across http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/66-77...ayphotohosting.
Does the window frame come off, or is this a custom job?

the one later year was '68

'68 was the one odd year of removable frames that also used the later model striker and latch.

'When my Bronco is finished' is only a hypothetical statement.

You can convert your 69 - 77 Doors to have removable window frames. Remove all the spot welds and cut the weld that holds the window frame in and then pull the frame out. Do a search on here for removable window frames and you'll find lots of information on how to do this.

Yeah, I was going to bid again, they look like nice frames, but I don't trust it with all those bidders with (0) or (1) or (4) bids. Just seems fishy. I hope I'm not alone in my thinking.

Making your own is really pretty easy. Drilling out the spot welds and reinstalling the frames with large sheet metal screws is all it takes.

My '67 door's don't currently have frames, thats why I was looking, but they may just become my new trail doors.

I was the one bidding with (4) but it was sure cute that the seller had a history with the two other bidders

Yeah all I need is one Andy, I got me a beautiful '68 door that needs a nice frame to go with it. I just hate to scrap a whole door for one frame
