hey all,

Has anybody added an extension to the new process 435 trannie's shift tower? My wife refuses to drive the bronco as she cannot reach the darn shifter. I would like to extend it so that it can bend over the top of the "T" case shifter. I thought about adding a nut, like those used in the Simpson Strong Tie holdown all-thread extensions, but am not sure if it is strong enough at the thread area and could take the force of shifting the new process (not the smoothest thing in the world). Thanks!

You should really look into getting the either the gearbanger or the trail gearbanger from wild horses. I have the trail banger and my wife loves driving mine now.

The gear banger is sweet, I have the trail version and it is easy to shift.
