2nd Pilot bearing?

I may be a bit dumb here...

I got the first Pilot bearing out from the 3spd (it was a roller type) Now there appears to be another bushing on the crankshaft. the new bushing I got from AA is WAY bigger than the hole the old bearing left after being removed. I felt inside the hole and there is a seam but it's tiny and the jaws for the bearing puller can't grasp it.

Anyone have any idea how to remove it? I doubt the grease trick will work as the surface area for the bushing to crank hole is really really tiny

having the dumb confirmed.

Found a little indent that the puller could grab - came right out.

Good deal Ionicus. What was a second bearing doing on there in the first place though?
Did the new stuff fit back in as expected.
