Slipping In and Out of 4 Wheel...weak Spring on Dana 20 somewhere?

Mine is slipping in and out of 4 wheel and I was told that there is one or a couple weak springs that can easily be replaced. Where are they and what are they called?

What do you mean by slipping in and out? A common problem is either the front or rear side of the tcase popping out of gear and into neutral. Never heard of one slipping into gear. Is that what you mean?

there called detent springs and there located behind two bolts one for the front shift rail and one for the rear I just replaced mine made a lot of differance you can try and do a search for dana 20 exploded view
