Anyone for see any issues using a 351w out of a 77 1 ton motorhome? It has 62000 miles on it and I can get it for around $200. Wanted to make sure this was a usable engine for a Bronco. Thought it may have oddball issues being out of a motorhome.
Thanks

Make sure it really is a Windsor.
Motorhome miles are usually hard miles, figure wear closer to 120k
For $200, if you see it run and it runs good, no problems. I know people who paid that for a core.

Should be a decent engine while it was subjected to a heavier load I would say that it probably wasnt beat on any so thats a good thing. Might also have a dual sump oil pan already on it so you wouldnt need a new one for the bronco.

I'm not really looking for a high performance motor just a good running stocker. I thought for $200 bucks I'd run it for awhile and if I had trouble I'd at least have the block towards the $300 core charge for a remanufactured one. Thanks for the input!
