This truck has Dana 60's front and back. Assuming the front leafs could be trimmed off, would these axles be a good candidate for a full width swap?

It is the best candidate for a full width swap. That front 60 is GOLD. But make sure it is a 60

The 78/79 Dana 60 will have kingpins instead of balljoints. Like what bax wrote that frontend is considered by many to be the holy grail.

After 15 years of searching I just bought a 78 Super cab 4x4 with Dana 60's front and rear.

Make sure the front is actually a 60 and not an 8 lug 44. If it is a 60 it is considered the best axle available.

And it has a 60,000 mile 1993 7.3 diesel. Is this motor worth anything?

What would a person pay for that front axle? Just wondering cause I can get the truck for a good price as is.

The going rate for a 78/79 Dana 60 front end is $1250-$1500 in good stock condition.

I think 1993 is the first year of the turbo electronic injected 7.3 but it didn't become badged as the powerstroke until 96-97?
