Fan Cluch to close to radiator...

So I just purchased the Fan and Fan Clutch assembly mentioned in this thread:

http://classicbroncos.com/forums/sho...uar+fan+clutch

fan clutch, PN 2765
clutch fan, PN 3618

However after putting it in its place it appears it is WAY to close to the ole radiator. I am looking for suggestions on what I can do to get myself some more clearance and make it work. Thanks

I'd move the top radiator support mounts to the front of the core support. You can do something similar with the bottom also. That will pull the radiator forward.

Between the cost of the serp setup, balancer re-work, PS hose and electric fuel pump you'll be into it at least a couple hundred dollars. And you still won't get to use that new fan/clutch.

All in all for the effort and little to no gain your really better off just not running the fan clutch.

run a solid blade fan w/ no clutch. it'll cool better than what you're trying to shoehorn in there.
