I think I might be missing a bushing to go over the knuckle, or I am mis-reading the diagram. I count 5 needed, but my kit only came with 4?

Passenger side uses three bushings as I can see- one on top of the drag link heim, then the drag link heim, then two bushings back to back, the tie rod and then the knuckle.

At the Pitman Arm it shows a bushing between the pitman arm and the drag link, and another between the drag link and the torque nut?

Hopefully I am reading this wrong? Shouldn't there be another bushing where my fiinger is?

Call Anthony, he'll answer all your questions 423-563-0126.

I was going to but I feel bad calling him on a holiday weekend at dinnertime :-X

I'm not sure you need 3 on the pass side.

Where would I remove one? the top one seems needed, so would it be one of the two that are back to back? I dunno.

Here are the directions- let me know your interpretation. I'm mildy retarded so it's not uncommon for me to miss the obvious.

I see in the directions that you have it right, so he must have shorted you a bushing. I however don't see the need to have the 2 back to back on the pass side, it will still pivot like it should without it.

ryan, I HAVE A SPARE BUSHING. get your arse over here and get it.

after looking at your pics you have the bushings installed wrong. you only need them on the drag link heims, and you have the extra on top of the tie rod heim which is wrong.

Good luck Ed, when I added ram assist the only way I could fit it and have enough room was to leave it under. I think Robert had the same problem.

Mine is over the knuckle with only four. The two stacked together on the passenger side is not needed. The lower link will see no axial rotation on the heim so it doesn't need the clearance. Also- these are not in double shear so it is better to keep the length between the knuckle and nut as short as possible.

Hello Ryan. Sorry I'm late for the party. Never worry about calling me...call anytime. You must have received an old installation drawing. At one time we did use 2 bushings under the drag link heim at the knuckle. Then it came to my attention that 2 under the heim wasn't necessary so we went to 4. The heims on the drag link only need one tapered spacer on each side of the heim.

I do apologize for the confusion and for wrong installation drawing. I've deleted that one to make sure it doesn't get sent out by mistake again.

But again, if you ever have a question do not hesitate in giving me a call. Shoot, if you just want to BS about Broncos...give me a call ;)

Hey Anthony, thanks for the post- I wasn't too worried as everyone on here seemed to have the same logic... plus, I don't even have brakes so the question wasn't holding me up.

BTW, the kit went in without a hitch (aside from the mystery bushing). I can't wait to beat on it and have some confidence while I'm wheeling! It is pure beef, especially compared to the ole inverted Y!

I also appreciate the offer on being available for calls- you are certainly one of the easiest and efficient vendors I have worked with and you certainly have my recommendation!

Thank you Ryan and yes by all means...get out there and have some fun. Hopefully I'll have mine back together before too long myself and can join in ;)

But yeah, that's what I'm here for so if I can ever be of any help...steering or otherwise, just give me a ring.
